More on Death’s Kiss…

The Order of the Tide Raiders is a guild in the watery world of Pontus for those sacrificed children from the landmasses whose souls have been blessed by the drowned gods and washed up among one of the four Cardinal Orders. The story follows twenty-year-old Merena Boreas, a bastard-born castaway who washed up to the Cardinal North without any memories of her past life and an extraordinarily rare affinity.

Against all odds she's just been voted into captaincy with her and her crew beginning their eighth and final year of instruction in the hellish Cardinal North. Once this year is up their deepest hope is to be selected for a TideLord's fleet and begin their Tide Raider careers out on the open seas.

However, this is no normal year…

This year the mythical 'Vault' has arisen from the netherdepths and brought with it the opportunity of a lifetime. Merena will have to spend this next year competing against seven other captains, both from her Cardinal Order and those belonging to South, East, and West, in the deadly challenges known as 'The Pillar Trials'.
